Introduction

RMLFS was appointed to deliver the overcladding of the existing asbestos cement roof at the Fitness First Head Office. The objective was to extend the lifespan of the roof while improving the building’s thermal performance and weather protection.

Scope of Works

The project involved installing a modern insulated overcladding system directly over the existing asbestos roof, allowing the roof to be upgraded without the need for costly asbestos removal. Key elements of the works included:

With the Fitness First Head Office located above an active factory and showroom, the team implemented strict site controls, clear communication with

A dedicated team of six specialist roofers, supported by multiple trades, worked collaboratively to deliver the project safely and efficiently within the 40-day programme.
