The Works

We undertook a full roof refurbishment programme at Homebase’s Eastbourne store. Works included erecting scaffolding, a complete clean of the 2,434m² roof area, and treatment of cut edge corrosion across affected sheets. Defective rooflights were replaced to improve natural lighting and watertightness, while new Sharmans Plygene gutter liners were installed throughout to provide a long-term solution to gutter failure. The project was completed with a full application of the Delcote protective coating system, ensuring durability, weather resistance, and extended service life of the roof envelope.
