The Scaffold Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing scaffolding operations on-site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership, a proactive approach to health & safety, and excellent communication skills to manage teams and liaise with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily scaffolding operations across commercial projects.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (NAS, TG20, SG4, etc.).
• Conduct toolbox talks, site inspections, and risk assessments.
• Lead, motivate, and support scaffold teams to achieve productivity and quality targets.
• Liaise with project managers, site managers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor material usage and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Record and report site progress, incidents, and near misses.
• Ensure scaffolding is erected, modified, and dismantled safely and in accordance with design drawings.

Requirements

• Essential:
  • CISRS Supervisor Card (or CISRS Advanced Scaffolder with SSSTS/SMSTS).
  • Proven experience supervising scaffolding projects within commercial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of scaffolding regulations, designs, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
• Desirable:
  • First Aid at Work qualification.
  • Previous experience in scaffolding within Roofing, Facade, or Industrial sectors.
  • IT literacy for reporting and record keeping.
